American Sea Island Cotton Polo [Pink]
ASIC is a rare cotton that inherits the pure lineage of Sea Island Cotton. It boasts outstanding quality in all aspects: fiber length, fineness, strength, and luster.
We use raw cotton with a fiber length of 35mm or more, classified as extra-long staple cotton, and gas singe the surface of the yarn to remove fuzz. Furthermore, mercerization is applied to bring out an elegant luster and supple firmness.
The 40/2 count yarn is knitted on a finer 24-gauge machine at high density. This creates the unique three-dimensionality characteristic of a 4-needle pique knit, with a moderately thick texture.
