The extra-long staple cotton harvested in southern India possesses a unique smoothness due to its high natural oil content.
Because the individual fibers are exceptionally long and slender, a "soft-twist" spinning process creates a yarn that is soft, voluminous, and pleasant to the touch.
We use a premium spinning technique—selecting only fibers 35mm or longer and meticulously removing fuzz—to produce a yarn that can only be manufactured at specific facilities in India.
This high-quality yarn is knitted at a high density with a tight gauge, then subjected to a special finishing process using diamond abrasives; this creates an ultra-fine nap, resulting in an exquisite fabric texture that feels luxuriously soft—almost melting to the touch—while retaining a firm, substantial core.
